Due to our extensive product range our supply chains are very complex. They extend over several countries and production steps. With some of our producers, we maintain long-term partnerships, while the supply chains in other sectors, on the basis of product and production specifications are usually much more variable. The Conditions and criteria of our cooperation differ depending on the business area.

We place great value on social and environmental sustainability of cooperation with business partners and producers. The Code of Conduct for business partners describes in this regard, the basic principles for the cooperation. The principles contained constitute the minimum standards for our business relationships.

The Association of Finished Goods Importers (VFI) was founded in 1962. It is an association of companies primarily based in the European Union. The VFI advises its members on, among other things, trade and economic policy issues.

The Foreign Trade Association (FTA) is a business association of European and international companies that promotes free trade and sustainable distribution channels.

The international non-profit organisation Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is based in Brussels. The aim of the BSCI is to monitor and improve social standards and working conditions in companies.


More than 3,500 companies from Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen and Schleswig-Holstein are organised in the AGA. Founded in 1949, the association supports its members in all matters relating to company and personnel management.


The Waren-Verein der Hamburger Börse e.V. is a federal association of wholesale and foreign trade. The association represents companies from the canned fruit, vegetable, juice and fish segments as well as frozen products, fish and delicatessen products, dried fruit, nuts, organic products, dried vegetables, spices, baking seeds and related goods.
